NOAA: May Anomaly Warmer than April

15 June, 2008 (10:42) | Data Comparisons

NOAA/NCDC’s May Anomaly came in higher than their April Anomaly. The two anomalies are:

  1. April 2008: 0.426 C.
  2. May 2008: 0.438 C.

I’ve decided that it’s useful to provide more information on the fits for the individual measuring groups. So, I’ll be showing data from 2000-2008, and both Cochrane-Orcutt (C-O) and Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) fits starting from both January 2000 and January 2001:
NOAA May Anomaly

I’m still waiting for HadCrut data!

The key is wrong it should read - - C-O (2001 m= -0.3 C/century)
