Que sofrimento!
.
This is why I long ago moved to Florida. Today: 77F, breeze from the SW. Tomorrow: 78F, breeze from the west. Next day: 80F winds form the NW.
I’m currently in Baghdad, where it’s about 50 degrees and raining. I didn’t expect it to rain so much in Iraq.
My wife is in Colorado Springs, where the high yesterday was about -1 F, with 20 mph wind gusts. Eep!
Can someone point me to the name of that fellow who said he felt bad for his daughter (in New York) because sledding wouldn’t really happen anymore. He was a climate guy of some type. My google skills may be suspect, I couldn’t find it.
Peter:
Dr. Michael Oppenheimer of the Environmental Defense Fund.

To give credit, the Googling didn’t get me to the NYTimes article directly, this site did:

Waiting for green days
Is it cold and long enough
To kill pine beetles?
My home state is blue.
Not a surprise if one lives

goodbye, Chicago
A massive snowstorm
Ravages the countryside.
Winter — deal with it.
My girlfriend in MI says the news is playing the “JAWS” theme while giving the weather report. LOL
Snow, glow, throw
Increased snow, snowier
Increased glow, glowier
Increased throw, throwier
Biggest snow, snowiest
Biggest glow, glowiest
Biggest throw, throwiest
Today snow, tomorrow sunshine
How to cope with
Extreme weather?
