I think she was planted by the Koch Brothers to ridicule the warmists. (sarc off:)Although to be sure, one does not need such subterfuge to ridicule the AGWers. They are doing it so nicely by themselves.
Actually, I have seen this sort of thing a couple of times before. One company I worked with always included people from the secretarial pool, accounting department, and the office janitorial staff to participate in environmental accident investigation committees at large chemical plants… and they were just as informed and cogent as that lady, and always valuable contributors when it came time to identify causes for control system failures.
Many years ago when academic purges were common in the Soviet Union, I saw a definition of a successful historian.
A successful historian in the Soviet Union is someone who can correctly predict history.
In her defence, I should point out that she started out using the term “climate change”, not “global warming”.
It was the interviewer who first used the latter term, possibly deliberately.
Also, she is from the Cook Islands which have a fairly stable, tropical climate, so she was probably not used to the cooler and more variable weather in Europe.
Too her, it probably was cold in Bonn.

Where is the direct claim that the +/- sign of the data doesn’t matter to this particular method of analysis?
