They owe a total of $37,868 in back taxes and penalties.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n That’s not chump change!<\/p>\n But the real<\/i> kicker is in the first paragraph<\/p>\n Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged in the killing of George Floyd, faces new allegations of felony tax fraud, including failure to report more than $95,000 over several years working as a security guard at a bar where Mr. Floyd also once worked as a bouncer.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n It doesn’t say they worked there at the same time. But I can’t help but think if the two were acquainted, there is any hint<\/i> of negative feeling, and the jury learns of this, that will color the jury’s view of other facts.
