Summer is here. I bet you’re thinking about the June UAH while watching baseball. Time to bet on the June UAH temperature anomaly. We’ll announce the winners when Roy Spencer posts the anomaly in early July. The cut-off for betting is around June 15, 2011.

But I’ve never quite figured out the time zone. Maybe UTC?
I guess I blew it – waited a bit too long this month. After making the comment, I noted that there are bets for .223 and .226 already on the board, so I sure would have very small chance of getting “closest”. Probably this saved me a quatloo, unwillingly.
Yes, I think it is UTC time, since i missed the May bet as i logged on 1/2 before cut-off and it was closed already too! so i put my reminder 1 day early this month!
