I wanted to email you in regards in any possible advertising opportunities you may have with your website…I wanted to talk to you (and looking to promote on your site) about is the C40 Cities (Climate Leadership Group) and the work that they and their partner the Clinton Climate Initiative (Bill Clinton and Doug Band) have done to tackle the issue of climate change and global warming. Here’s their website : www.c40cities.org …their goal is to increase energy efficiency in large cities across the world.

Let me know if you’d be interested in working together, I look forward to hearing back from you.

Sure. What does working with you involve on my part. You mentioned an interest in possible advertising opportunities. What did you have in mind?

I haven’t heard back. Maybe their goal was to get me to blog and mention his site and url? If so, they got what they wanted. 😉

They have an upcoming Summit in Sao Paulo starting May 31 maybe you can see if they will comp you travel and accommodations. I will expect a t shirt from you if they agree.

  3. Jeff Norris–
I see that working with these people could involve a lot of travel:

The first summit was held in London in 2005 and the second took place in New York City in May 2007. The third C40 summit was hosted by Seoul in May 2009 and the next summit will take place in Sao Paulo from 31 May to 2 June 2011.

All those trips would increase my carbon footprint substantially. But the goal is clearly worth it. So if they offer me all expense paid trips complete with keys to any in hotel room mini-bars , I’ll go. I’ll ask for a t-shirt for you. (I better check to make sure my passport is up to date!)

Now, I have this bridge ……

I’m sure the 2013 summit will be held in Lagos-Nigeria.

  6. For such an organization it is interesting the sender uses a gmail email address, they do not have their own domain and mail server?
