Dreamhost moved my VPS to a new IP roughly 30 miutes ago. Once I figured out what happened, the switch required a me to change a few entries at Cloudflare. It took about 5 minutes; I think I’m finished. However, if you notice any glitched, try to let me know. (I’m not sure my email is working. So I don’t know how you will let me know. I’ll be testing that momentarily.)

I got an error message when I visited an hour or so ago (09:30 Japan time). Everything looks fine now. 🙂

Thanks. I noticed the switchover when I was working on the script to create trouser patterns for Jim. (The test fit went well. I now want the pattern generator to create clear patters. ) I didn’t immediately know what was going on…. But once I did, I realized I had to go to Cloudflare to change DNS settings. That seams to have sorted out the blog.
Something funky is happening with email. Some backlog of ancient emails since August are hitting. Don’t know why. The web interface claims there are 30,000 unread emails in the inbox. FTP isn’t working either. So, some things may take a while to sort out, but I think the blog looks ok.
Would this have anything to do with me getting held in moderation, or is that just because I’ve finally become to grumpy to bear?

The only remaining thing is getting ftp to work. Something odd there. As they moved all the servers, maybe the logins or something changed.

ftp works. They changed the name of the private server. Once I knew the name I could ftp. 🙂
