The Chicago Blackhawks dispatched 2 of the original 6 NHL teams on their way to winning the Cup and for someone who has followed the Hawks for more years than most of you have been alive that really means something.
I had to turn to some urgent business with the Bruins up 2-1 and figured we had game 7 back in Chi Town. When I turned back to the television I see the teams extending handshakes and the wife says I think the Hawks lost. I said no way: the only way they are shaking hands after game six is that the Hawks won with 2 goals in the last 90 seconds. Unbelievable.
Like Kane said: Corey Crawford was the MVP.
Jonathan Toews, Captain Serious, at 25 is mature beyond his years.
All I can say is Boo!
Bruins fan, grew up watching them on channel 38.
