  1. I’m an American Idol fan, and I must say — they’re all good. Can’t say whose going home tonight, though – maybe Chris or Allison, but hey Adam was in the bottom three last week, and Danny was just OK last night, so…

Perhaps one of the climate models can make a prediction ;^)

  2. I’ve always liked the final few weeks of American Idol. I agree all four remaining contestants are good. If I were to vote who leaves, it would be Chris. But… I like Chris too! I’ll be sort of bummed no matter who leaves.

Of the four, generally, I can imagine buying Danny Gokey’s records more than anyone else’s. I prefer the style music he chooses. But… I wouldn’t buy what he sung last night. 🙂

I was glad the guy with no breath-control left last week. . . I never understood why the judges used a save on him. But then, I’m not the demographic for major record labels.

Yeah — “Dream On” is tough for anyone to sing except Steven Tyler – remember when Michael John sang it last year? That said, I voted for Danny and Adam…but my daughter likes Chris…we shall see tonight!

  4. In the voice of an angel category, these contestants will be hard-pressed to compete with Gregory LeMarchal, see his French idol final in 2004 here ; he had some popular videos with a namesake of Lucia’s e.g.
    here or here .

He died a couple of years later of cystic fibrosis at the age of 24, his death prominently covered in French news and is the subject of innumerable tributes on youtube, but his accomplishments in a short life are a remarkable inspiration to children suffering from cystic fibrosis.

  5. Steve,
What a sad story. What a young talent. His singing reminds me of David Archuleta’s from last year’s AI.
    Thanks for sharing it.
    And Lucia,
    great links.
